DGS CLASS OF 1978 |
On Saturday, March 20, 1999, our Class Bible Study Group organized a "treasure hunt and barbeque" family outing to Yacht Club's Middle Island, off Hong Kong's Repulse Bay. Thanks to the hard work of Joyce L., Eva C., Annie L., Winnie L. and others in the Bible Study Group, the many families who attended -- we had about 50 people in total -- had a fun-filled day. Our children, in particular, had lots of fun, enjoying a "treasure hunt", a "hermit crab" race and playing "tong tsee dow" on the beach. We were pleased to see some of our children getting on well together and making new friends. The few "brave" husbands who also made the trip had a good time as well (I think!) although the proof of the pudding is to see whether they show up for next year's family barbeque!!
